These vintage hand-carved wooden boxes were crafted in India, most likely in the Saharanpur region — an area long known for its richly detailed woodwork and Mughal-inspired floral carving. Each lid is adorned with blooming vines and scrolling botanicals, deeply etched into warm hardwood (likely sheesham, often called Indian rosewood), giving them both weight and presence.

Turn them over and you’ll discover their hidden detail: a discreet sliding panel on the base that reveals the interior. Two of the three are lined in velvet, making them perfect for keepsakes, heirloom jewelry, or the small things you want tucked gently out of sight.
